Sorry for the delay in posting this last blog of our "summer" travels. We left LA the day after the cruise ended and arrived back in Florida on 10/11. We are finallly are unpacked and "back to normal". Also, for some reason the blog won't allow for captions so I will give an overview.
Everyone commented on the green shirts but our color choice was limited because of the range in sizes. We all picked our favorite character and we spent the evening before the cruise at the Westin in Long Beach ironing them on.

I will strongly recommend Disney for families thinking about a cruise. The boys, Haven (13) and Jovin (6) had their own clubs to go to and, apparently they had a good time. We had to remind Haven to join us for dinner. Payton (2) is too young for a club, but there was child care so her parents could have some time on their own. We took advantage of it so we could have dinner at the adults only restaurant -Palo- which was wonderful.
Our stops were in Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas. Haven, Jovin, Carol and Hank went swimming with dolphins while Payton, Kristine and me watched. Ken stayed on the ship. We did a tour of the city in the afternoon. In Cabo, Hank and Ken went deep sea fishing and both caught Mahi Mahi. Carol and Kristine went horse back riding on the beach (no pictures) and grandma stayed on the ship with the kids.
Meeting with characters, watching fireworks at sea, wearing crazy napkin hats, wine and martini tasting, and time at the adults only pool rounded out a fantastic week.
On that note, we will have occassional updates on the blog until our next adventure in 2012. Ken and I hope you have enjoyed traveling with us. Until next time, stay well and travel safe.
