HEADING HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

We have had a very busy 2+ months since finishing our tour in Colorado City.  On our way home we made stops in Oklahoma City to see the Memorial to the Oklahoma City Bombing.  A very moving experience, especially seeing the teddy bear on the child

After Tulsa, we made a stop in Zachary, Louisiana to visit our daughter, son in law and two of our grand kids - Payton and Gabriel.

The first weekend in November was our

Our next adventure was a 2 week Southern Caribbean cruise to celebrate our 42nd anniversary as well as Ken's birthday.  It was a great 2 weeks on a beautiful ship visiting 8 ports.  This is the same ship that we were on last year for our transatlantic cruise.  A beautiful ship and an excellent cruise line.  We enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked a 12 day Mediterranean cruise for 2016. We also squeezed in trip Epcot before the cruise to enjoy the Wine and Food Festival and buy our first Annual Pass so now we can go the the parks as often as we like.

As of this writing, it is 3 days before Christmas.  We will host a party tomorrow for some friends and then spend a quiet Christmas day in Florida.  So Ken and I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

We will be assistant rally masters for Mardi Gras in February so that will be our next blog post. In the meantime stay well and travel safely.
