BAJA MEXICO SLOW AND EASY

Bahia de Los Angles was our first significant stop. After a hard drive over the mountains we made it here to camp on the beach for several days. This is one of the areas hard hit by the lack of tourism and because it is off the beaten path and 75% of their income is from tourism. Many closed or abandoned campgrounds. Bahia de Los Angeles is on the east (Sea of Cortez) side of the Baja and used to be a mining town but now, tourism and fishing is the prmary occupation.
