LAS PAZ

We spent 3 days in La Paz which is the capital of Baja California South (BCS).  The Baja (which means low) is divided into two states; Baja California and Baja California South.  So that means that we were in the southern part of the lower part of California.  While in La Paz we had a city tour which included a visit to a beautiful cathedral and a whaling museum, the city market and a drive by past Wal-Mart and Sam's Club.  Yes, they are in Mexico as well as Costco.  We also had a great dinner at a restaurant in a beautiful resort outside the city. Our wagonmasters, Bob and Pat, arranged for a bus to take us to the restaurant so all of us were able to  have "one more Margarita" than usual.  It was a great evening.
