Santispac remains on of our favorite places on the Baja SLOW AND EASY. We stopped there both ways and it is camping on the beach with no water or electricity for a total on seven days, but it has always been special to us to wake up to sunrise over the water. This beach does have a small restaurant and bar called Lupe's so we were able to go there in the evening and have a drink, listen to music and watch the "locals". The town of Mulege is about 10 miles north so groceries are available.
Most of the pictures are self-explanatory and just show alot of relaxing comaraderie. We did celebrate Jim Wilson's birthday with Brats courtesy of Gunter and Sandy and a great cake from the local bakery. We also took a trip to see cave paintings. Our guide explained it as a van ride and a 20 minute walk. well, it was 20 minutes but it was a hike over rocks then a short boat ride and more rocks to see the paintings. It was worth it to see the cave paintings that go back about 1500 years.
