MOAB, UTAH

Our stay in Moab allowed everyone the opportunity to explore Arches and Canyonlands, the two national parks in the area.  We were scheduled to do a late afternoon cruise on the Colorado river with entertainment followed by a dinner. Well, we boarded the boat and got to listen to one song before the rains came.  So, no boat ride, but the dinner and entertainment were good.
We had a pancake breakfast with Wally and Joan, our Canadian guests, donating homemade maple syrup and Wally helping Ken make the pancakes.
On the way out of town to our next stop most of us stopped at "Hole n' the Rock".  It is a home that was carved out of the sandstone cliffs and the couple lived in it for many years.  No pics were allowed inside but all who stopped felt it was very interesting.
