The last week in May was one of the RV rallies we are doing this summer for Adventure Caravans. It is the 2009 ESCAPADE in Sedalia, Missouri. This was a long show almost a whole week. A lot of hours on our feet. Fortunately Bob & Pat Beitler were able to work with us and help out. Bob & Pat became friends on the Mexico trip we did together a couple of years ago as guests. Now here we are all staff together. AVC donated the grand prize for the show and we had the opportunity to pick the winner and make the presentation. The prize was the 23 day Maritimes trip, the same one we did last year. The show went well except for the almost continuous rain which led to a lot of mud when we left. There were 750 rigs at the Escapade and 200+ had to be pulled from the mud. Both of us made it out ok.
