SITE OF JFK ASSASINATION, DALLAS, TEXAS

Recently while visiting Kristine & Hank we drove into Dallas and marked one more place off our have to visit list. This is a map of the area where JFK was assassinated. The arrow points to the exact spot where it happened. The next picture is of the building (the Sixth Street School Book Depository) which is smply called the Sixth Street Museum. The next picture shows the window that Lee Harvey Oswald shot President Kennedy from. There is a mock-up of how Lee Harvey Oswald was positioned for the shooting - including a rifle sticking out the window. The last shot is of the infamous "grassy knoll" where they originally thought the shots were fired from. The Museum was done very well and concentrated on Kennedy's life as well as his death.
